EMERGENCY NOTICE
PREPARE TO PROTEST
WHEN TRUMP
FIRES MUELLER
CAT AND I APOLOGIZE for an alarming notice during what should be a time of rejoicing and having plenty of good things to eat.
We urge our readers to go to the highest alert level and prepare for maximum protest efforts.
We anticipate that Trump will soon fire special counsel Robert Mueller.
This is because the news services are reporting that Trump says that he won’t fire Mueller.
Since Trump is a serial liar, this can mean only one thing.
Here’s a Washington Post version:
President Trump on Sunday sought to douse speculation that he may fire special counsel Robert S. Mueller III amid an intensifying campaign by Trump allies to attack the wide-ranging Russia investigation as improper and politically motivated. |

WE WOULD, of course, like to be wrong.
But that would go against everything that we’ve learned during the campaign and since he took office.
Remember what this Mueller investigation is about: Russia's interference in the last election and the one upcoming, and Trump's traitorous involvement: either his collusion with that attack or his refusal to defend our country against Russia's continuing assault.
BE PREPARED.
The logical time for Trump to act will be as soon as he signs the tax un-reform bill.
Have the contact information for your Senators and House members.
Be alert to demonstrations that will take place in your area. And participate.
For those of you with young children, have baby-sitters on call.
Keep your cell phone charged and your car gassed (or charged).
If you attend a protest, tell someone where you are going.
Keep you lawyer’s phone number in your wallet.
For those of us in Northern Blue states, remember that it’s winter. Regardless of whether Trump’s EPA considers “cold” an approved word, dress warmly for outdoor protests.
INCIDENTALLY, Cat has asked me to be sure to say this:
“Phoebe and I may be (in your view), animals, but we are not mean or vicious. We advocate non-violence. Don’t hurt anyone. Effective protest is not an anything-goes proposition. Use common sense. Be kind.”
Cat speaks for both us.
DEMOCRACY takes effort.
And if you are scared of your own shadow – I’ve been known to jump at the sound of a dried leaf falling to the ground – it makes it all the harder, but all the more important, to make a stand.
We lose if we don’t try.
Have faith in America.
If it comes down to a choice between panic and staying calm, choose panic.
As always, from both Cat and me:
Have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah and a great New Year!
